Aqui Bici

Fiets
Velo
Bici

New words at every stop for the bike. I love particularly how Bici sounds, being a BC boy myself.

Anyhow, not lots of net time here, but I managed to squeeze a few new photos up onto flickr (check the link under the map to the right). Slow to upload so maybe I can find a faster connection elsewhere and put some new ones up? Also maxed out my flickr space for the month so I'm going to start putting photos on the old midnight mass flickr site, www.flickr.com/

oh yeah, barca rocks.

I am sure the B.C.Clettes (or however you spell it) would love that too...

Thanks for the phone call from Spain! I felt special (and had a great excuse to duck out from work- always a good thing) and it was great to chat.

I rocked the Folk Fest this weekend- it was awesome- and I got to spend time with Julia Burns- always a good thing. Her mom got us up on the stage (she was production managing)- and we got to listen to rad Australian techno/didge/crazyness- xavier rudd on E maybe? Marjorie, Jordan, Spencer, Kim, Danielle, etc... send warm hellos- they were on the hill as usual...
keep the good stuff coming-
love Sis

Super shots Simon, the Pyrenees are gorgeous, but DRY. Must have been fabulous to camp in those ruins. We see you've turned into a lean, mean cycling machine - love the rad rug you're sporting.

Michelle & I also saw Dan, Jordan, Marjorie, etc at Folk Fest, gave a quick recap of your trip so far. FF footnote: Vancouver's own Fugitives opened main stage Friday night...so good.

Keen But Trivial Observation: "International" (the pic at the crossroads)...pavement reflection in shop window says "STOP". Do you see that everywhere, or is it just a Spanish thing?

btw, must feel great to have conquered the Pyrenees. Next the Alps? What would Caesar say...
Veni, vidi, vici via bici???

hmmm, maybe not, but here's my 3 bits (spelled correctly this time i hope:) Vaya con dios,
All our love, Dad

You have facial hair!!!!!! I just looked at the Flickr photo of you with a stache/goatee... hilarious. I can't decide if it is hippy/bohemian, creepy molester, crazy traveller, or biker beardy (like motorcycle styles)... or a combo of all the above... I think it might be my favorite photo of you of all time (along with the one of you rockin' to records with dj style headphones in a diaper...)
